Morgan and Justin first crossed paths in a very unexpected way. Morgan’s uncle Joe had connected her with a man named Leo, who had previously worked in the music industry. Coincidentally, Leo also would often visit the music store where Justin’s brother, West, worked. During one visit, Leo mentioned to West that Morgan was “high up” in the music industry (not entirely accurate—she was just starting out in Nashville) and might be able to help him. He passed along her contact information, and soon after, West reached out to Morgan to plan a trip to Nashville to meet. When they met for dinner downtown, Morgan saw two guys waiting out front—one was West, and the other turned out to be his brother, Justin, who had tagged along for the trip. Over dinner, the three bonded over music and travel, with Justin doing most of the talking. When it was too late to catch live music anywhere besides Broadway, Morgan decided to walk there with them. They hopped between several bars, and Justin made sure to be the one sitting next to her. The next morning, Morgan texted Justin to introduce him to some bands she thought he’d enjoy based on their conversation. They kept in touch regularly, even as Justin prepared to move to New York City. They spent months texting and calling until Justin flew to Nashville over Memorial Day weekend to spend the long weekend with Morgan. They explored the city, went on several hikes, and when his flight back to NYC was canceled, they got one more unexpected day together. After that trip, Justin knew he wanted to keep seeing Morgan, so he asked her to be his girlfriend—and she happily accepted, feeling the same way. Their relationship began long-distance for about a year until Justin got a new job that brought them to the same city. From there, they built a life together—exploring new places, getting a condo, adopting a puppy, and, most recently, moving into their first home. They’ve loved every step of the journey together. December 17th 2024 rolled around, it was just a normal work day. Morgan and Justin were both working from home that day. Justin mentioned to Morgan that she should get ready for something fun after work. Morgan didn't think much of it and got ready. Justin took them to Arrington Vineyards and they walked around the hillside and found a quiet spot. That is where Justin went down on one knee and asked Morgan to be his forever. She happily said YES! They then enjoyed a bottle of their favorite Arrington wine, Russell Merlot. Together, Justin and Morgan have built a life full of laughter, love, and frequent travel — especially to cities, where they love exploring unique cultures, trying all the amazing food each city is known for, and walking many miles every day (usually logging 8–10 miles daily!). They’re beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter with all the people who’ve been part of their journey.
