We met in a salsa dancing class in the fall of 2021, and from the moment we stepped on the dance floor, there was instant chemistry. Morgan thought Jun was so handsome (but was warned to steer clear of pilots), and Jun thought Morgan was equally cute—but heard people from Florida were crazyyyy. Well, we both ignored the warnings signs, and let’s just say, the rest is history. 😉 What started with late-night salsa sessions soon turned into endless adventures. We quickly realized we loved doing everything together—whether it’s whipping up delicious meals in the kitchen, spending weekends trying new Italian restaurants, or planning our next trip. (Morgan's love for planning means there’s always a spreadsheet ready, while Jun’s calm and collective nature makes it impossible to say “no” to anything.) It didn't matter what we were doing - we loved doing it together. In the summer of 2024, Jun surprised Morgan with a birthday trip to Maine, where one evening they spent watching the sunset in Acadia National Park. With the summer breeze in their hair and a beautiful pink sunset, Jun popped the question—and Morgan, with no hesitation, said yes! After celebrating with lobster (of course), they spent the next week exploring Maine, before heading back to Chicago to bask in the joy of being engaged. We’re now looking forward to dancing, baking, and traveling our way through the rest of our lives—side by side, as we’ve always done. (Jun needed a little crazyyy in his life anyway ;) - Morgan)
