We're getting married!

Morgan started her new job as a barista at Starbucks, where she was sent to Julius's store for training. They met on the floor, and exchanged Snapchats.

As time went on, their friendship blossomed. Julius introduced Morgan to the band Tool, and they spent countless hours hanging out in his orange Camaro, vibing to music and enjoying each other’s company.

Julius helped Morgan land a job at the vape shop he was working at. They found themselves as co-workers once more, strengthening their bond with every shift they worked side by side.

A business convention in San Antonio brought them even closer. They were provided with a shared hotel room. Their colleagues teased them about only using one bed so the housekeeper would have less work. That was the first time Julius held Morgan. It was in that quiet moment together that she began to feel something more. She realized just how safe and comfortable Julius made her feel.

In a time of need, Morgan found herself without a place to stay. With the support of his family, Julius opened his home to her as she got back on her feet. Their kindness became the blessing she needed. That first holiday season, Julius' family warmly welcomed her, and new memories were made together.

Working side by side to open a second store location, Julius and Morgan discovered how well they complemented each other. Together, they tackled challenges, each allowing the other’s strengths to shine. It was clear—they made an unbeatable team.

Julius made it official, asking 'Will you be my girlfriend?'--marking the start of their next chapter.

With excitement and love, they signed the lease for their first apartment in Odessa, TX, blending their lives and creating a home together.

In the summer of 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, they moved to San Antonio to open a third store location. Together, they navigated the uncertainties of a new city and new opportunities. In the fall of 2021, Morgan went back to school, and Julius embarked on a new career path that November. By October 2022, Morgan began a new job. Through all these changes, their love and commitment deepened, helping them grow both individually and as a couple.

Two days after their 5-year anniversary, Julius popped the big question. Morgan had just finished making dinner when Julius came home late, having given a co-worker a ride. He walked in with a dozen red roses and greeted her casually. As they exchanged stories about their day, Morgan couldn’t help but eye the roses, waiting for him to hand them over. Sensing her anticipation, Julius teased, “They’re from a client.” She grinned and shot back, “Oh yeah? Have they known you for five years?” With a smile, he finally gave her the flowers. Morgan hugged him, breathing in their sweet scent, and just as she was thanking him, Julius asked, “Will you marry me?” Her face lit up with excitement as she exclaimed, “Yes! Of course!"
