Morgan and Josh met through a random string of events. Morgan decided it was time to move closer to home after five years of being states and states away. She decided it was time to move to Chicago the closest base for work for her to Michigan. Through mutual friends and Josh securing a random closing deal in Florida, fate aligned and Morgan was told she should reach out to Josh. There were no mailer pigeons in this story, just the modern day love story, Morgan reached out to Josh via instagram message or as the kids like to call it "Slid into the dms." Fast forward a month, they finally met on a first date in Chicago. Josh was actually the one flying that day and yet somehow Morgan was the one 20 minutes late. (She changed her outfit way too many times) They met at a small bar on a cold wintery night in November where they had wine, and then more wine, and then a shot or two. After hours of conversation and it be obvious they didn't want the night to end, they closed the bar down. They left the bar saying goodbye knowing there would be many more dates. Morgans' favorite part she learned later was that Josh called his best friend and said "I think this girl might be it." After that, the rest was history. They quickly became each others best friends and fell in love and knew they'd found forever in each other. Fast forward almost three years and they now have a golden retriever, and a shih tzu Josh swore he'd never get. It led us all here today, and now they're getting married.
