Our first date or AKA: The Interview was at Merit Coffee in Dallas and all went so well that Jesse asked to take Morgan on a proper date.

On the second date Jesse and Morgan met up at a farm to table restaurant in McKinney. Jesse completely forgot to make a reservation and they waited two hours before they finally got seated. Jesse was nervous they were going to run out of things to talk about but the conversations kept flowing and things were going so smooth. Despite the blisters Morgan got from the cute shoes and walking around for two hours, she really liked this guy and wanted to continue to see where this would go.

Jesse asked Morgan to be his girlfriend.

It was Morgan's birthday and the two were traveling down to Austin to celebrate with a hike (Morgan's favorite activity) and some good food. Morgan found a trail online that looked like it was going to be awesome and led to a waterfall where Jesse thought would be the perfect spot to get down on one knee. The funny thing about Texas summers is there is pretty much always a drought so therefore no waterfall (womp, womp, womp). The romantic proposal and everything Jesse had planned in his head was ruined. The two headed back to the AirBnb to clean up before dinner. Jesse had planned for family and close friends to surprise Morgan with an engagement celebration at dinner so time was running out. When the two were about to walk out the door Jesse hugged Morgan and then got down on one knee. According to Morgan, it was absolutely perfect and the best moment and birthday ever!
