He put a ring on it!

We met while working as animal control officers! Somewhere between impounding grumpy dogs and getting yelled at by irate animal owners, we fell in love. Some of the things that bond us would be our strong sense of humor, our competitive streaks, a love for the outdoors, and a genuine interest in one another that has never faded. Home for us is anywhere we are together.

While everyone else was busy wrapping gifts for their loved ones on Christmas Eve, Jaymes was busy devising a plan to put a ring on it! With family and friends gathered ‘round at a Christmas Eve celebration in 2019, he removed his secret gift from his sock, and dropped to one knee! Lucky for Jaymes, she said yes! After planning to be married a year later, a global pandemic threw a wrench in the wedding planning. It's finally the right time for an intimate micro-wedding... or mini-mony as some would say! Needless to say, close friends and family will be joining together this Summer to witness what's been a long time coming... Soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Stumbaugh tying the knot!
