Our Story

Although miles separating them, Morgan & Jason grew up in very similar ways - both dedicated to their sport, prideful in their friendships and with family being at the heart of their stories. With some detours, both of their paths led them to the University of Iowa where they met their forever friends who have now become like family. The two spent their college days passing each other on campus & the occasional ~Hey What’s Up Hello~ at Phi Delt frat parties. Iowa wasn’t where their story began, however, Morgan believes there was an invisible string that was always meant to bring them together when the time was right. Morgan went off to graduate college, start her career within the special education field as Jason finished his last year at Iowa while navigating one of life’s toughest challenges. A few years later, that invisible sting led Jason to re-meeting Morgan - only this time as an Easter bunny at a Covid holiday birthday party for a mutual college friend. Their opposite personalities clicked instantly, even sparking their first playful "argument" over a game of flip cup. Their relationship offically began after Jason got his boys' approval of his first “fire text” sent to Morgan a few days later. From then on, Morgan & Jason were inseparable - spending their weekdays in the suburbs & their weekends in the city, all while thinking their relationship was on the down low (according to absolutely no one). They spent countless nights staying up talking about their goals, funny memories with their siblings & "one day" dreams of starting their own families. Even with guarded hearts, they knew they couldn’t help that invisible string tying them together. One year later, Jason moved out of the city & bought a house that soon became a home for the two of them. Today, not only do they share the same goals in life, but they have met their dream of marrying their best friend.
