Bride
I could not be more excited to spend the rest of my life with Morgan. She is so authentic to her true self and someone that I know I can rely on as my other half. Her humor and excitement for the little things in life make every day with her so fun. There's nothing like getting to see her uncontainable joy when she's doing something she really loves, like dancing or running around on the beach. I can't wait to be her husband.
Groom
Words to describe Jacob: kind, patient, steadfast, fun, silly, adventurous, generous, loving… shall I go on? He has such a calm and grounding presence that makes any situation feel easy. I cannot wait to have the privilege of doing the rest of our lives together. We truly love one another with such a whole and Biblical love.
Maid of Honor
Rebekah and I have been best friends for over 10 years. She is the closest to a sister I’ll ever have!! She is truly one of the most kind, loyal, and loving people I know. We have been through EVERYTHING together. Thinking about it makes me weepy!!
Best Man
Caleb and I have been friends since the day I was born, and I've always enjoyed any time we get to spend together. He goes after things that interest him without fear, and because of that, we've made lots of great memories. Some of my favorite memories consist of any time we could get outdoors — playing sports in the back yard, going on hikes, sledding down the hill, or hitting the slopes in the winter.
Bridesmaid
Julia and I met in 2022 when she and her husband, Jason, had first moved to coastal VA. We clicked instantly — she is so fun-loving, kind hearted, and easy to laugh with! This girl is my mermaid sister. Our favorite things to do together are go to the beach and collect shells, or have a movie night in with a midnight bowl of soup (she knows!)
Groomsman
Brett and I hit it off the moment we met and I'm so blessed to have him as a friend. Brett is so good at letting his friends know how much he cares about them, and he brings the energy and humor to every situation. I can't wait to see him tear up the dance floor. Brett has also broken his wrist more times than anyone I know.
Bridesmaid
Sophie and I met at the beginning of 2023 through church. In my heart, she is my big sister. She is just as sweet and fun as she is smart — truly a friend who is down for anything (crafts, adventures, tomfoolery) and will have your back through anything. I have always come to her for advice and will continue to do so as we start this new chapter!!
Groomsman
Cullen and I have been friends since freshman year of college. He has always shown me that life doesn't have to be intimidating. If you're excited about something, you should go for it. My favorite years from college were the ones where we got to be roommates, and now, I'm excited to see his own family start to grow.
Bridesmaid
Rianna and I met at the beginning of 2024 through work. I say that she is the reason I stayed at my last job for an extra year! She is so easy to spend time with and made me look forward to coming to work. I have always felt so seen and loved by her, and never judged. We’ve enjoyed road trips, concerts, and many days thrifting together.
Groomsman
John and I have been friends since I moved to Williamsburg, and our 6 months as roommates couldn't have been more fun. John is one of the most encouraging people I know, and he does a great job reminding me to not take myself too seriously. I wish he didn't live so far away, but I don't miss getting jump-scared every time I get home.
Bridesmaid
Kayla and I met at the beginning of 2025 when we both started working at our hospital around the same time. Although we haven’t known each other for very long, we joke all the time that we feel like we’ve known each other forever — I’m convinced she’s my long lost sister. She is so unbelievably fun, silly, and a little crazy (like me!), yet so gentle and kind. God knew I needed her!
Groomsman
Stephen and I have been friends since the beginning of college, and he is one of the most creative people I know. I've always enjoyed how fun he is to talk to and his excitement for seeing new places and trying new things. That kind of excitement is contagious to be around and I really enjoyed our time as roommates.
Officiant
Nathan is a close friend of both the bride and the groom — Jacob became friends with him working at adjacent summer camps in 2019, then became closer working together at the same camp in 2020. Morgan knows him as Sophie’s absolutely hilarious, yet extraordinarily kind husband and a man who you know is always praying for you. He also got officially ordained in February of 2026 (congrats Nathan!!)
Ring Bearer
Lyla is very excited to have another girl in the house. She always gets so excited when Morgan comes over. We can't wait to see how long it takes for her to realize that it's permanent.
Mother of the Bride
Susan is both my momma and my built-in best friend. Her and my dad have given me such a good life so full of love. I have so many memories of long, meaningful conversations with her that were full of her wisdom, and many carefree days playing games at the pool or the beach like she was my big sister. In her words, she is “always in my corner” — I know that my mom always is there for me, no matter what. I love you mom!
Mother of the Groom
Roberta is both my mom and my teacher from kindergarten through high school. She spent so much time teaching us not only school subjects, but also practical life skills growing up and I'm so much better for it. She has always been someone I can go to for comfort and encouragement, and has always made me feel so loved.
Father of the Bride
David is both my dad and my built-in best friend. He has always been the standard for the type of man I wanted to marry. He is so strong, patient, and Christlike. I feel so loved and cared for by him, and he also makes me laugh harder than any human on this earth. To know my dad is to love him! I love you dad!
Father of the Groom
Chris is both my dad and a role model for me. He is the hardest worker I've ever met, and has always sacrificed so much to take care of us. He's always someone I can go to for wisdom and gives me the confidence to make those decisions. I hope I grow up to be that kind of father for my kids.
