There will be about a two-hour break between the ceremony and reception. The reception will be held in downtown Wilmington, with cocktail hour starting at 1700. Wilmington has plenty of great spots to explore! Feel free to grab a drink, enjoy a quick bite, walk along the Riverwalk, or relax before the celebration continues. We’ll see you downtown!
We invite guests to dress in garden party–inspired attire—polished, comfortable, and celebration-ready. For women: Long/maxi dresses or dressy sundresses are all welcome. Light, airy fabrics, florals, and soft or coastal colors are perfect for the setting. For men: Suits or sport coats with dress pants are encouraged. Button-down shirts with slacks are also appropriate, with or without a tie. Lighter colors and breathable fabrics work well for the setting.
Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for seating.
The ceremony is indoors at a Catholic church. Cocktail hour and dancing will be held on a covered outdoor deck, and dinner is indoors.
While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration except for children listed on the invitation.
There is plenty of ceremony parking onsite at the church. For the reception, there is a large parking garage downtown off Market St, as well as street parking and other lots near the venue.
Dinner will be served buffet style, as well as a four hour open bar starting during cocktail hour.
