We met when I was a freshman in high school and Hans a sophomore at a mutual friends house. Hans took one look and knew I was the one. He walked right up to me and told me he would marry me one day. Obviously I thought he was nuts. After 7 years of friendship, I finally decided to take the leap and take him up on one of his many offers to go on a date. Boy am I glad I did. I have found my person, my soulmate, my best friend for life. I can't believe it took me so long to realize, but man was the wait worth it.
