EVEN Hotel Norwalk

We'll have a hotel block reserved for Friday and Saturday night; enter the promo code BHW at checkout when reserving your room! The room charge is fully covered, but you'll need to use a credit/debit card to reserve and for incidental charges (like room service, etc.) If you don't have a car, there is free shuttle service to and from the wedding on Saturday; the shuttle runs from 3:30 to 6:30pm to arrive, and 9:30 to 12:30 to return.

New York JFK

Much easier to access by subway system and connection to Metro-North than LGA. Instructions are subject to change, but: Take the AirTrain from any of the terminals to Jamaica Station, then walk to take the E train (World Trade Center-bound) and get off at Lexington Av/53 St. Walk to the 51 St station to take the 6 train (Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall) to Grand Central Terminal, and you can connect to the Metro North from there. AirTrain and subway costs are $10.50, and Metro-North tickets to South Norwalk or New Canaan are around $20 for round trip.

Flight

New York Laguardia (LGA)

About an hour from Norwalk/New Canaan by car; rental cars are available and are recommended just so you can get to and from the hotel. Taxi to/from LGA is quite expensive. You can also take the M60 bus ($2.75) from LGA and transfer to the Metro-North at the 125th St. station; take the Metro-North New Haven line (around $20 round trip) to South Norwalk if stopping at the hotel first, or transfer at Stamford to New Canaan if coming straight to the wedding.

Westchester County Airport

Destinations are limited, but it's the least stressful and closest airport to New Canaan/Norwalk. Check the airline information section to see if flights serve your area. The airport doesn't allow taxis other than from their licensed vendor, which can be reached at (914) 200-1313. For public transportation, the 12 bus from the airport ($2.75) can take you to the White Plains Transcenter. Take the Metro-North GCT-bound train to Harlem 125th St, then transfer onto the New Haven line and either get off at South Norwalk (for hotel) or transfer at Stamford station to New Canaan (for wedding.)
