Stowe Recreation Path is a 5.3 mile paved trail, used for walking and biking, that runs from the Stowe Village to a covered bridge. It offers scenic views of the mountains and river and provides access to local shops and restaurants.

Come meet their fuzzy highland cow herd, or go on a Sound of Music history tour! Make sure to swing by the mountain top brewery for a pint before you leave.
A Vermont must-do! Take the drive through Stowe to Waterbury to check out the Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory! You can book tickets for a 30 minute tour or just stop in for a creamy treat.
If you want to go for a scenic drive off the beaten path, we recommend you stop by Sticky's Maple Works! They are very friendly and will treat you to a tour and explanation of the syruping process as well as some delicious samples! Just down the road from their sugar shack is Moss Glen Falls -- an easy nature walk featuring a waterfall.
The Stowe Farmers Market is a beloved local tradition occurring every Sunday morning and set against a stunning mountain backdrop, offering fresh produce, artisan goods, and a warm sense of Vermont community. It's also conveniently located right alongside the Stowe Recreation Path!
This organic farm sells local honey, maple syrup, and wine. You can also book their Golden Retriever Experience, which is basically an hour long play date with a dozen or so golden retrievers in a beautiful farm and mountain setting.
This roadside spot features delicious local beef burgers with toppings ranging from traditional to adventurous -- and many of their options can be made vegetarian!
We've been dreaming about their cinnamon rolls for months (and will continue to forever). It's located right by the airport and definitely worth a stop in if your itinerary allows! If you are coming in later in the day you can also call and reserve some cinnamon rolls ahead of time.
Lounge or walk along Lake Champlain in Burlington's Waterfront Park. Enjoy a lakeside stroll or catch the sun set over the lake behind the Adirondack Mountains. Walk to nearby Church Street Marketplace or check out the ECHO, Leahy Center's science and nature museum.
