On the Smuggs' side of the Notch in Jeffersonville you can check out one of the many covered bridges Vermont is famous for!

Just down the road in Jeffersonville is the Smuggler's Notch Distillery. With award-winning gin, vodka, bourbon, and maple liqueurs, you can't go wrong with whatever you sample!
Lot Six Brewing Co
Just outside of the Smugglers' Notch Resort property is this popular post-ski hangout spot. You can stop by to enjoy a beer (or maple lemonade!) good food, and live music year-round.
Vermont Canoe & Kayak
Canoe and kayak rental business and tour company offering guided floats and paddles down the Lamoille River, along with tandem kayaks and paddleboard rentals.
The Alchemist Brewery
Fantastic brewery with a cool interior, delicious beer, and a nice outdoor green space with very good vibes. They also make their own old fashioned sodas for those who don't drink alcohol!

A beautiful restaurant & brewery with a lovely outdoor seating area among apple trees, beautiful gardens, and warm fires.
Stowe Recreation Path Peace Park
Stowe Recreation Path is a 5.3 mile paved trail, used for walking and biking, that runs from the Stowe Village to a covered bridge. It offers scenic views of the mountains and river and provides access to local shops and restaurants.
Butler's Pantry Breakfast and Dinner
Check out Butler's Pantry for breakfast or brunch if you are heading to Stowe! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, and you'll enjoy *real* Vermont maple syrup with your breakfast.
von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort
Have your very own Sound of Music experience with the von Trapps! Their beautiful property has incredible views, and they offer a variety of tours. Come meet their fuzzy highland cow herd, or go on a Sound of Music history tour! Make sure to swing by the mountain top brewery for a pint before you leave.
Ben & Jerry’s
A Vermont must-do! Take the drive through Stowe to Waterbury to check out the Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory! You can book tickets for a 30 minute tour or just stop in for a creamy treat.
Sticky's Maple Works
If you want to go for a scenic drive off the beaten path, we recommend you stop by Sticky's Maple Works! They are very friendly and will treat you to a tour and explanation of the syruping process as well as some delicious samples! Just down the road from their sugar shack is Moss Glen Falls -- an easy nature walk featuring a waterfall.

Stowe Farmers Market
The Stowe Farmers Market is a beloved local tradition occurring every Sunday morning and set against a stunning mountain backdrop, offering fresh produce, artisan goods, and a warm sense of Vermont community. It's also conveniently located right alongside the Stowe Recreation Path!
Golden Dog Farm
This organic farm sells local honey, maple syrup, and wine. You can also book their Golden Retriever Experience, which is basically an hour long play date with a dozen or so golden retrievers in a beautiful farm and mountain setting.
Burger Barn
This roadside spot features delicious local beef burgers with toppings ranging from traditional to adventurous -- and many of their options can be made vegetarian!

If you're over in Stowe and appreciate specialty coffee, we highly recommend stopping into Movement!

Whether you're staying in Burlington or just passing through, make sure to check out the award-winning pedestrian mall on Church Street!

If you have one meal in downtown Burlington, let it be at Honey Road. Their consistently award-winning Eastern Mediterranean tapas style food will have you wanting to come back for more!
Mirabelles Bakery
We've been dreaming about their cinnamon rolls for months (and will continue to forever). It's located right by the airport and definitely worth a stop in if your itinerary allows! If you are coming in later in the day you can also call and reserve some cinnamon rolls ahead of time.
Waterfront Park
Lounge or walk along Lake Champlain in Burlington's Waterfront Park. Enjoy a lakeside stroll or catch the sun set over the lake behind the Adirondack Mountains. Walk to nearby Church Street Marketplace or check out the ECHO, Leahy Center's science and nature museum.
