During our senior year of undergrad my roommate, Alicia, and I decided to go over to our friend's house one infamous Friday night. While there, I saw this guy I thought was cute. He was wearing none other than a San Jose Shark's cut-off hoodie and playing video games. Sound familiar? Yes, it was Elijah. Alicia, being the great wing woman she was, convinced him to play some games with us and the rest is history...Elijah would like to make it known that he won all of the games.

Elijah proposed during one of my favorite activities: hiking. Despite all of his best efforts to surprise me, I had an idea this was coming when he told me to turn around so he could get a photo of me looking into the distance. Two of our best friends, Emily and Brandon, were there to capture the moment, including me yelling, "I knew it!" as soon as I turned around to see him on one knee. Surprise or not, I could not have been happier to say yes.
