HIS STORY, HER STORY, OUR STORY

HIS STORY I’m from Kansas City and recently graduated from Kansas State University — EMAW! I have an older brother, Rick, and my parents, Jeff and Amy, who have played a huge role in shaping me into the person I am today. They taught me everything I know — including how to show up on time and how to marry a cougar! Most weekends, you can find me on the golf course with friends — especially when Morgan is my cart girl for the day. Summers usually mean lake weekends with friends and family, filled with good times and even better memories. I can’t wait to continue doing what I love with who I love. HER STORY I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and I’m endlessly proud of my Texas roots. Life eventually led me to Kansas, where I attended Kansas State University — Go Cats! I kept myself more than busy during my time there, working for K-State Athletics and staying involved in all kinds of extracurriculars, including Pi Beta Phi. I’ve always loved working out and running, and at some point I even convinced David to run a half marathon with me — you should definitely ask him how that went. Whether it’s a long run, a good workout, or just spending time with the people I love, I try to make the most of every moment. Now, I’m excited to keep building a life full of adventure, laughter, and love with David by my side. OUR STORY We met junior year of college at a party — naturally, the perfect place for two very studious, academically driven people to cross paths. That night, Morgan somehow convinced David to tutor her in econ. What started as study sessions quickly turned into friendship, lots of laughs, and eventually a celebratory Chick-fil-A lunch after a surprisingly good test grade. Not long after, we officially started dating and haven’t looked back. Since then, we’ve graduated college and taken on Kansas City and post‑grad life together, figuring things out one step (and one coffee) at a time. Somewhere along the way, we also added our dog, Tink, to the mix — and if you know us at all, you’ve definitely heard us talk about her. Along the way, we’ve made some of our favorite memories traveling—especially a trip to OKC for a Hudson Westbrook concert. What began as an econ tutoring arrangement turned into the best partnership we could’ve asked for, and we can’t wait to keep building a life full of laughs, adventures, and good music together.
