"THE BEST SANDWICHES EVER!" - Emily Rosamond (Morgan's sister & Maid of Honor) This sandwich shop is the best around and is more of an on the go option! It has been here since before our mom and aunt's time in BR (that's a long time). It is located just down the road from Alex Box and Tiger Stadium. We recommend trying the Cajun Turkey! *Pro Tip - you can always ask for a different flavor of Zapp's chips*

The Chimes

The Chimes is just outside of the entrance to LSU. This location has a rooftop bar and serves both American and Cajun styled foods. The Bride recommends the Spinach & Artichoke Dip!

Coffee Call

Love beignets? We do too! Coffee Call is a BR spot that offers delicious beignets (think donuts with air inside and powdered sugar on top) with an array of coffee and drink options. For our out-of-state family & friends who may not be familiar with this cultural treat, please see the attached picture.

French Truck Coffee

French Truck is a local coffee hot spot loved by many college students and families. The Bride recommends the New Orleans Iced Coffee. This location is near downtown BR.

Raising Cane's No.1

What's kickin', want some chicken?! WE DO! The first EVER Cane's is located just outside of the gates of LSU. For those not familiar, this is a fast food chicken joint, with the best sauce you'll ever have!

Superior Grill

If you are craving Mexican food or a good margarita, look no further than Superior!

Tiger Stadium

Chance of rain - NEVER! Note: Tiger Stadium is right next door to Mike the Tiger!

Mike the Tiger's Habitat

Mike the Tiger, a famed live Bengal Tiger that serves as the graphic image of all LSU Athletics teams, resides between Tiger Stadium and the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Knock Knock Children's Museum

For our friends with little ones, check out the Knock Knock Children's Museum. It's a hands on, educational, and fun experience for kids! Admission is $15 per visitor and free for kids under 2 years old.

USS KIDD Veterans Museum

The ship is currently away for overhaul, but should be back in Spring 2025! After you tour the museum, take a stroll along the Mississippi River!

Louisiana's Old State Capitol

This architectural gem is free for viewing and houses a small museum about the state and building's history. *Refer to website for museum hours*

Perkins Rowe

Perkins Rowe is a shopping center with an array of restaurants, a Cinemark movie theater, and a Barnes & Noble. Other noteworthy shops include: Caroline's Cookies, Shades, Anthropologie, Frock Candy, Urban Outfitters, and Free People.

Tanger Outlets - Gonzales

The Gonzales Outlet Mall is a summer friendly way to beat the heat for our family & friends staying closer the the reception venue. You can find many dining spots around this area as well.
