He had just left town for home in South Dakota, or so I thought. My mom's birthday was coming up & my dad suggested we take nice family photos at Brucemore Mansion near our house. My family got dressed up & went to take photos in the gardens. My dad snapped a few and showed me the picture, where a man was photobombing in the background. I turned around and Cole was waiting there for me on one knee! Little did I know he had been in Iowa the whole time and had sneakily coordinated everything with my family!!
