It’s happening!

Morgan and Chris met at the Old AMC Showplace 8 Movie Theater in Vernon Hills. Chris was Morgan's Manager. Chris noticed one day that Morgan was acting weird around him and knocking into counters in the Concession stand. Chris found out from the other manager working at the theater that Morgan had some of the same interests as him. Chris messaged Morgan later that night and they started talking about music, movies, and politics. Chris and Morgan had their first date together at a crew screening of Disaster Artist, Morgan was very scared to hold Chris' hand, but she got the courage to do it half way through the movie.

Chris' favorite music event every year is Riot Fest in Chicago. There was a Thursday Night special event pre show for the festival that featured the band the Aquabats. Chris looked up a potential play list for the show and noticed that they have been opening up their sets with the song Shark Fighter, Morgan hates sharks. Chris wants to be Morgan's Shark Fighter forever so he thought it would be the perfect time and place to propose to her. Chris had sent the engagement ring to his best friend Ian for safe keeping, because he did not want Morgan finding out what he was planning. Chris asked Ian for the ring when the song started and he asked Morgan to marry him. I think she said yes!
