When should I RSVP by?

Kindly RSVP by June 21 so we can finalize our plans with the venue and vendors.

Answer

Yes! We’re registered at Crate & Barrel and Target and are so grateful for your generosity. You can find our registry information on the “Registry” tab of this website.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is cocktail attire. Think suits, dresses, jumpsuits, and festive evening wear.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your RSVP includes the option for a guest, you’re welcome to bring a date. If not, we’re only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

We kindly ask that only guests listed on the invitation attend. As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration unless children are specifically named on your invite.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We’ve secured a room block at the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile for our guests. You can find all booking information and details in the Travel section of our website.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes — please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them with our caterer.

Is there parking for the celebration?

Answer

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the celebration?

Answer

We will not be offering transportation to the celebration. That said, the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile is conveniently located within walking distance of The First Lady Chicago as well as parking. Hotel and parking details can be found on our Travel page.
