Morgan and Brian met in high school when Brian didn't have a full head of grey hair and Morgan rocked double popped collars and braces. Their friendship was founded on summers spent on the lawn at Riverbend, late night rides in Brian's old Cadillac, partying at Miami University for Green Beer Day, and those two very unfortunate evenings when each of them lost their fake IDs at Brick Street (Morgan) and Longworth's (Brian). Throughout the years, they would run into each other randomly and catch up, but never on a regular basis. Like that one time, Morgan "forgot that Brian lived in Cincinnati" and failed to invite him to her 25th birthday or that time Brian jumped out of a moving taxi by his Hyde Park condo and stuck Morgan with the whole tab from Mt. Adams to Indian Hill (though he swears he paid for it all). Fast forward to the summer of 2019, when Jordan Finley and Hannah Wallach invited Morgan and Brian to the FCC vs Columbus Crew game in Columbus, Ohio. In true Brian fashion, he forgot he committed to going to the game and told Jordan he would need to meet everyone at the hotel. As fate would have it, Morgan was stuck at work and couldn't leave until later either, so they rode together. Morgan vividly remembers her mom asking her if this was a date with Brian to which she laughed and said, “Yeah, no. We are just friends.” Little did she know that this night would be the beginning of their love story. It took several years, a few different jobs, and a variety of significant others before they could see that they belonged together. Their love story didn’t start with an initial spark, but rather a slow-burn to get to where they are today, and they couldn’t be happier. They have survived two house renovations, Quarantine 2020, and their dogs, Oreo and Gibson, eating chicken bones twice.
