We met at Boxcar bar in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at about 11:30pm on February 2, 2019. Morgan was with two girlfriends, and Brian was with his band Dream Feed getting ready for a show. Morgan was sitting to the side of the stage, thinking she was out of the way (another band was playing), when Dream Feed came out of the green room, to find her sitting amongst their gear. “Oh gosh! Hi, I’m Morgan. Can I get y’all some water?” Were the first words between us. The girls had to leave early, but Morgan woke up the next morning to a Facebook message from Brian, and we kept up correspondence. And fell for each other hard and fast. Morgan moved to Denver just about six months later. We appreciate all our family and friends who have been there for us, helping us develop as individuals and as a couple. Part of our celebration is a celebration of you all. We love and appreciate you. Fun Fact: Actor Luis Guzman was at the bar the night we met, enjoying the show! He has an unofficial invitation to the wedding. We’ll see if he shows up.
