Brekkan and Morgan first met in 8th grade after they were introduced by mutual friends. They briefly "dated" and Brekkan was Morgan's first kiss. Their young-love relationship came to an end like most do at the age of 13 and Brekkan and Morgan parted ways. The fall of 2014, Morgan was home from college for Thanksgiving break and ran into Brekkan after more than seven years. The two hadn't seen each other in years and no longer had mutual friends so the meeting was serendipitous. After some persistence on Brekkan's part, the two went on their first date. Morgan had intially said no to Brekkan because she was only home for a few days and wasn't sure what a date with Brekkan would bring. Little did she know that date would turn into forever! The two have been together ever since and their love story is one for the books.
