Best Man
Dylan, the best man at Brandon’s wedding, is more than just a cousin – he’s a lifelong friend and confidant. Growing up, Dylan and Brandon were inseparable, with Brandon making the annual trek to Florida for Christmas and Easter, where their bond grew stronger each year. Despite the miles between them, with Dylan living in Florida and Brandon in Ohio, their connection has never wavered. Today, their catch-ups mostly happen over phone calls, where they dive into the latest college football talk – mostly about the Buckeyes and the Florida Gators – and share stories about life, love, and everything in between. As well as their spontaneous trips to Bunky’s to share oysters and wings. Dylan has always been a constant presence in Brandon’s life, and now, as his best man, he stands by him for one of the most important moments of all.
Groomsman
Brandon and Tyler have been great friends since their freshman year of high school, bonding over sports, weekends together, and countless Butler football games. Their friendship only grew stronger after high school, with Tyler making regular trips to visit Brandon at Ohio State—always finding a way to be there for big games and even bigger memories. These days, their hangouts look a little different but are just as entertaining, whether it’s catching up over a beer, debating sports (usually with some friendly bickering), or hitting the golf course. No matter what, Tyler has been a loyal friend through it all, and Brandon is honored to have him standing by his side on the big day!
Groomsman
Brandon and Jake go way back to high school, where weekends meant roaming around town or poker nights in his grandparents’ basement. At Ohio State, from living in the same off campus house while studying at the Fisher College of Business, to joining the same fraternity, and even starting a side business together - it’s always a good time. From block parties to living just down the street from Bulls, we shared a ton of memories—usually with golf, sports, The Buckeyes, or a drink involved. Fun fact: Brandon inspired the final line of my graduation speech: Don’t Stop Believin’.
Groomsman
Brandon and Jordan’s friendship kicked off back in 3rd grade on the pee-wee football field and in the classroom—where they quickly became partners in crime (and frequent chatterbox offenders). From sleepovers in Brandon’s grandparents’ basement to gaming marathons in Jordan’s, their bond only grew stronger through middle school and high school. Just when you thought they’d seen enough of each other, they became college roommates at The Ohio State University. There, they spent their days repping the Buckeyes, strolling up and down High Street, obsessing over NHL video games, and catching Columbus Blue Jackets games any chance they got. Now, years later, life’s brought them full circle—they’re still just a few minutes apart, both living in Huber Heights. Some friendships fade with time, but theirs only seems to level up.
Groomsman
Gabe and Brandon’s friendship started in an unforgettable way—when Gabe and a few friends from Wayne High School crashed Butler High School’s winter formal during their senior year. That night, they instantly hit it off, forming a friendship that has only grown stronger over the years. The summer before college, they were inseparable, spending nearly every day golfing or shooting pool in Gabe’s garage. Even while attending different schools—Gabe at Ohio University and Brandon at Ohio State—they made it a priority to visit each other often. These days, you can find them on the golf course or bonding over their shared (and often misguided) optimism for the Cincinnati Reds. Fun fact: Gabe has only beaten Brandon in golf once—on Father’s Day two years ago—shooting an impressive 74 to Brandon’s 75. He hasn’t let him forget it since.
Groomsman
George has been Brandon’s longest-standing friend, with their bond dating all the way back to preschool in Vandalia. Growing up, they spent countless hours at each other’s houses playing video games, front-yard football, poker, and shooting hoops at the rec center. Though George moved to Columbus in middle school, distance never kept them apart. Brandon frequently made the trip to Columbus during high school for their usual antics, and George would occasionally return to his hometown to catch up. Their tradition of visiting each other continued into college, with Brandon making trips to the University of Cincinnati and George joining him at Ohio State for Buckeye game days. These days, they keep their friendship strong with an annual golf trip to Florida—always a highlight of the year. Fun fact: To this day, Brandon refuses to call George by his real name, sticking to “Allen” from their childhood years when George went by his middle name.
Groomsman
Brandon and Zach’s friendship began during Brandon’s senior year of high school through their shared love for golf. Zach, a freshman phenom at the time, was naturally taken under Brandon’s wing—for better or worse. They spent nearly every day together, with Brandon chauffeuring Zach to school, practice, and the golf course. As the years went on, their bond only grew stronger. While Brandon played golf at Urbana University and Zach finished high school, summers were spent at Miami Valley Golf Club—either on the course or working together cleaning clubs and golf carts. When Zach moved on to play golf at Ohio University, Brandon made frequent visits, and Zach never missed a chance to come to Ohio State, especially for an Ohio State vs. Michigan showdown. These days, their friendship is built on competitive banter, with Zach happily taking Brandon’s money on the golf course every chance he gets.
Groomsman
Brandon and KJ met several years ago at Miami Valley Golf Club, where their friendship kicked off the best way possible—trying to take each other’s money in the captain’s game. What started as friendly competition quickly turned into a close bond, built over countless Ohio State games, Reds games, sunny golf trips to Florida, and weekends at the lake. Whether they’re talking trash on the course or just enjoying good times with great people, KJ has been a solid friend through it all. Brandon is honored to have him standing by his side on the big day.
Groomsman
Brandon and Jack go way back to Butler High School, where they first met on the golf team—Brandon a senior, Jack a freshman. Their bond really took off during the summers when they worked side by side as cart boys at Miami Valley Golf Club. Let’s just say not all of their time was spent working—some of it may have involved “testing” the driving range or hiding out in the cart barn. Fast forward to today, and the two are still close, living in the Dayton area and now enjoying the club as members instead of employees. Whether it’s a round of golf or a round of beers at the local subhouse, these two haven’t missed a beat. Fun Fact: Jack is one of the fastest-growing State Farm Agents in the country. Don’t worry—if you didn’t know that already, he’ll make sure you do by the end of the night.
Groomsman
Brandon and Aaron’s friendship kicked off during their senior year at Butler High School, where they spent more time chatting in study hall and playing basketball at the rec than worrying about homework. It didn’t take long for them to hit it off over typical high school guy stuff, and their bond has only grown since. They took their friendship to the next level as roommates at The Ohio State University, where their days were filled with Buckeye and Blue Jackets games, exploring Columbus, and endless video game battles—most of which Aaron (annoyingly) won, especially in NHL Hockey. Even though Aaron now lives in Florida and Brandon’s still in Ohio, the distance hasn’t slowed them down. Their daily banter continues, usually centered around their beloved (and often frustrating) Reds, Bengals, or Buckeyes.
Groomsman
Brandon and Tyler first crossed paths during their senior year of high school, thanks to their mutual friend Gabe. That final year of high school quickly turned into a summer full of late nights playing pool in Gabe’s garage, hitting up discount movie night, pickup basketball games, and plenty of rounds of golf. The friendship stuck. Throughout Brandon’s time at Ohio State, Tyler was a frequent visitor—always up for a beer, a Buckeyes game, or a road trip down to Ohio University to visit Gabe. These days, their hangouts usually revolve around two things: golfing and passionately (sometimes painfully) supporting the Cincinnati Reds. Whether they’re on the course or yelling at the TV, Brandon couldn’t imagine his big day without Tyler by his side.
Groomsman
Mitchell, or Mitch as most know him, is Brandon’s soon-to-be brother-in-law and the younger brother of the bride, Morgan. Brandon and Mitch first met about ten years ago when Brandon started dating Morgan. What began as casual hangouts quickly turned into late-night FIFA matches—where Mitch usually had the upper hand—and before long, Brandon was spending more time bonding with Mitch than with Morgan. Their friendship has only grown stronger over the years, from annual Norris Lake trips and Florida vacations to cruises and Reds games. When they first met, Mitch was just entering high school as a standout soccer player, and Brandon was playing college golf at Urbana University. At the time, Mitch wasn’t too impressed with golf, thinking it was a bit… well, lame. But somewhere along the way, Brandon helped Mitch catch the golf bug, and now they’re both completely hooked. These days, if Morgan can’t find either of them, there’s a good chance they’re lost somewhere on a golf course—probably still arguing over who had the better approach shot.
