Why is it just a reception?

Answer

Because Braden is in the air force he didn’t have many opportunities to come home to Illinois. We decided that what would work best for us is to have a wedding ceremony in California where he is currently stationed and a reception near Christmas time when he knew for sure he could come home and celebrate with our friends and family!
