Julie will probably talk to you about your feelings and send you a thoughtful gift, and Steve will give you a Cuban.

Ben's parents

Proud owners of The Gillespie Resort & Spa. They love having their family visit Asheville to spend quality time together. Between wine tastings, restaurant visits, and rock concerts, there's never a dull moment with Tim and Betsy.

Amanda Chung

Amanda was the first friend Morgan made in college, and they've been good, good friends ever since. She'll make you laugh, take your photo (professionally; seriously, look her up!), and cook you a mean white chicken chili. If we're doing superlatives, she's most likely to be having a good time until the Spanish music comes on- then she's having a GREAT time. Her husband, Dan, will officiate the wedding.

Walker Wolff

Walker and Ben met on the first day of 5th grade in Mrs. Teeter's class. Walker has countless tales about his travels across the country and the people he's met along the way. Walker is also an expert in everything wilderness - from tree identification to ideal techniques for starting a fire. The only more trustworthy person on a camping trip is Bear Grylls... and it's a tight race.

Katelyn Stahl

Kate and Morgan have been friends since college and traveled through Europe together before moving to Atlanta. Kate will drink exactly one more beer than you and will probs beat you at poker. She can also put you to sleep for surgery. This girl is the life of the party, and you will likely see her talking her way around the room, convincing people to take shots, and breaking it down on the dance floor.

Roger Lawrie

Roger and Ben met on the tennis team in Asheville. Roger is an absolute menace on the climbing wall and even more of a menace on the dancefloor. Roger will also be the one to scrounge your leftover food from your plate - luckily for him, there will be endless hors d’oeuvres and entrees. Ask Roger about a slapshot.

Jennifer Sovik

Jennifer and Morgan became fast friends when they met in Atlanta, and they were probably sisters in another life. She'll read your tarot cards, help you redecorate, and make you a fancy cocktail. When she and Morgan are together, they talk nonstop for hours until they have nothing more to talk about, and then, somehow, they keep talking. At the wedding, you'll probably find her chit-chatting with friends unless there happens to be a puppy or kitten hanging around, in which case she will be in a corner with said animal.

Brandon Hoge

Brandon and Ben met on the tennis team in Asheville where Brandon continued to terrorize Ben on the court for 4 years in a row. Between the two, there have been approximately 1348 ping pong games played - Ben has won a total of 12. As the years went on, ping pong turned to beer pong - but the win/loss ratio remained the same. Brandon is frustratingly talented at any competition he joins.

Jessica Alvarez

The year is 2019, it's February. Morgan and her new friend Jess go to dinner and the Rainbow Kitten Surprise concert. Afterward, they spend hours talking in Morgan's kitchen over tea and chocolate; the rest is history! Jess will give you a book recommendation, cook you the literal best meal of your life, and will 10/10 always go see a concert with you. She has the best clothes, best taste in music, and best dance moves of all time.

Matthew Gillespie

Ben's brother

Matthew and Ben were the perfect younger brothers who never fought and never argued and were just two little angels... At least that's how Ben remembers it. Tim and Betsy might have a different memory but we'll ignore that. Now, Matthew and Ben rejoice in being able to joke around and be stupid together just like when they were kids. Some things never change.

Liv Rochford

Liv and Morgan met in Austin and bonded over a shared love of charcuterie boards and football. Since then, they've talked (almost) every single day. Someday, she is going to leave Iowa to live in Charleston! You've got a problem? Liv's got an ear and some thoughtful advice. She will upgrade your skin and haircare routine (and tell you all the science behind it), make you an Aperol spritz, and talk celebrity gossip with you. You might try to convince her to like T Swift, but she's not budging.

John Gillespie

Ben's brother

John is the baby of the family and unfortunately for him, will always be the baby of the family even though he is officially the tallest brother. It's unsurprising that John has grown into being such an outstanding human since he has had absolutely phenomenal role models in his life. Seriously though even with being the youngest, he is the most mature... Funny how things turn out.

Faith Genoe

Morgan and Faith met when Faith was born in 1997, and she has become an honorary member of the Koewler family. Faith is a badass who served in Jordan and Syria for a year. Don't let her small stature fool you; she is an absolute athlete and could 100% beat you in a race, lifting competition, arm wrestling... you name it. She is equal parts jokes and deep conversations, and Morgan looks up to her so much.

Mack Koewler

Morgan's brother

Few people know this, but Mack and Ben have been married for over two years now. Once upon a time in a small town called Cincinnati, Mack and Ben got married in an Embassy Suites. Their officiant was none other than the famous Morgan Koewler.

Ashley Krull

Morgan and Ashley met while working at Home Team what feels like forever and ever ago. Ashley had just gotten hired, and Morgan jokingly asked her if she had a hairbrush, but she actually did! This sparked a great friendship that's taken them to Boston, Scotland, and Austin, and the possibilities are endless! Ashley is hands down the most thoughtful person on the planet. Speaking of the planet, you should join her campaign to save the polar bears!
