Uncle of the Bride

Anyone that knows me has heard stories about my uncle. Some of my core memories in life involve going to Florida to visit him going to various theme parks, going to our favorite restaurants, Clearwater Beach, etc. These are still things we enjoy doing to this day. Over the years, we have developed certain routines that we do every time we are together. Each visit he takes me to my favorite taco spot in Orlando, rides all the roller coasters with me and listens to my nonsense. I love him to death!

Dad has been my role model in life. He has always been superman to Gray and I. No matter what has been going on in our lives he has always done his best to give us the tools to succeed. He always made sure to make time for me as a kid and make sure that I enjoyed the things I was doing. Dad raised me around the game of football and instilled my love for sports that you see today. I could not have asked for a better Father and role model in life. I love you, Pops!

I don't have enough words to express my love for Lauren. We have been best friends since 7th grade and talk every day. I have never met someone that I am so similar with yet so opposite at the same time. Sometimes, months pass and we don't see each other in person. Each time we get back together its as if no time has passed. I could not have made it through my high school years without her.

My first friend in this world! This is a guy that I see as more of a brother than just a friend. We have been through everything together and I would not have it any other way. I am proud to have him stand beside me as I take take my wife's hand in marriage just as I was with him on his wedding day!

My first friend! I met Sarah in preschool and we have been the best of friends through all of life's stages. We joke about the fact that she was often disciplined by my Mimi at a young age because she spent so much time with me and practically lived at my house most Summers growing up. Carpooling to and from horseback riding/dance lessons with granddaddy are some of my fondest memories with her.

I met Will when I switched to Sacred Heart Catholic School as kids and we have been thick as thieves ever since that year. Will and I got especially close as roommates for several years. It is rare you can live with someone that long and still enjoy hanging out and cooking some of the best food we have ever eaten together.

Me and Emily met in 2015 and have left impressions on each other ever since. We have found common grounds in certain dysfunctional aspects of our lives. I can honestly say that I could not imagine my life without her and our nonstop shenanigan's. My every day starts with a snapchat of her face! Not to mention she may even be a better cook than Paula Deen.

Drew is Alex's brother that came along when I was a year old. I look at Drew like the little brother I never had. Drew is one of the funniest guys I have ever met in my life and lights up any room he enters. Some of the fondest memories of my life are spending almost all of my weekends at their house as a kid where I was treated like their third son my entire life.

Beau's twin sister! My new sister! One of the most caring individuals you will ever meet! Much like her brother, she has a very loving, silly, and extroverted personality. Gray is a nurse and spends her days taking care of others who cannot take care of themselves. We often gang up on Beau because she obviously must seek revenge for years of childhood abuse from him?? Haha!

There is not enough good things to say about my guy, Pete. They just don't make people like this guy everyday. Pete has been there for at the drop of a hat anytime I have needed his help over the years. Pete and I share a deep love for the game of football which has brought us extremely close together. I would not want to spend my Sunday's watching NFL games with anyone else.

Emily and I met in 2019 when her and Jake started dating! Since we had both decided to date older men (LOL) we found a common ground in the fact that we were the same age and younger than everyone else in the friend group. When COVID hit we grew closer and spent a lot of time in the Summers together. On top of all of that, we share a deep love for Taco Tuesdays.

Jon and I met in preschool at Ascension Luthern Church. We also grew up right around the corner from one another in Grove Park. We have had an unbreakable bond over the years. I can honestly say we talk every single day whether I saw him yesterday or 6 months ago. Riding to high school in his jeep was one of my favorite parts of growing up. I am so glad to still be so close with him to this day.

My goofy, beautiful blonde friend! We took dance together in our teenage years but did not get to know each other until me and Beau got together. 2021-2022 brought us even closer as Becca worked with me while finishing up her masters degree! At one point in time, we were together 2-3 weekdays plus grilling out at one of our houses on the weekends. Not to mention we have gotten to be pretty good travel buddies!

Martin was also one of the first people I met in second grade switching over to Sacred Heart. We have stayed best friends over the years no matter where our lives have taken us. Martin and his family have been so good to me over the years and I have so much appreciation for their generosity. Our love for good food as always made for a good time. If you ever need a hot sauce recipe this is your man!

If you have ever met this shining face, you know I could write a book on her humble yet infectious personality. My Cousin Angela (LaLa) and Sarah's mom were best friends growing up. I was friends with Sarah's brother first and really got to know her when she started working with me at LT&C in 2020. We talk every single day!

Jake has been like a brother to me ever since we lived together back in our Radford days. We were friends in high school but college brought us together for some of the best memories of my life. We grew close so fast it was like we have been friends since we were little kids. Jake is the most easy going guy I have ever met. I love spending time with him fishing and watching football on Sundays.

Chandler is my brother who was born when I was 5 years old. For many years of our life, we did not get along so well. As we have gotten older, I cherish any time we get to spend together and we have grown a strong bond. We have a mututal love for one another. I will always be there for him and love him. He has a very special place in my heart that no one else could fill.

Jacob has become one of my best friends the last few years. He is the only grown man I can talk on the phone with for three hours about football. Our podcasting days brought us together staying up late recording episodes and just having a good time creating something that was our own. Even though our jobs have pulled us away from podcasting I still cherish the time we spend together. I am so glad I can call you a brother for life!
