We’re gettin’ married, y’all!

It’s 2021. The COVID pandemic was still going strong. Bart and Morgan had both been through a very trying year in 2021. Bart’s father passed away after years of struggling with kidney disease. Morgan had weathered a long bout of a chronic stomach illness, compounded by the end of a serious relationship, and the emotional effects of the quarantine going into effect. These trying times would inadvertently bring our two star-crossed lovers together one Spring day. Both, having previously given up on dating apps, felt an unknown force drive them back, this time to an app called Hinge; the dating app meant to be deleted. And we can’t really argue with them on that business standard. Out of all the things that two people could ever connect about, ours will forever be snacks, and anyone who knows Morgan knows how apt this is. After matching each other, Bart made the first move, asking which of the weekend days was her favorite to relax and snack on. Morgan picked Saturday. Bart shot back with a why not both? They agreed both was way better. From that point on the next week was filled with conversations like no other. They were more fun, more natural, more everything. Bart wanted to see Morgan as soon as possible, so he asked if she’d like to get together that Friday. She enthusiastically agreed, and by the time the day rolled around both were dying to meet. Their first meeting and date went so well it felt like they knew each other for years. The conversation and magnetism between the two was palpable. There were even moments where the two could just be silent and enjoy the comfort in each others company. This feeling grew and grew as the months passed, filled with family meetings, shared dinners, and countless laughs during the time this bond was growing. It quickly became abundantly clear to both of them, individually, that the other was who they were always meant to be with. On Morgan’s birthday, December 23rd, 2022, Bart proposed to Morgan at her parent’s home via a candlelit serenade. To which she said an absolute and resounding “YES!” We are so excited to share this moment with everyone come October!
