Expect daytime highs of 85°F and nighttime lows around 70°F, with high humidity (averaging 75%). Pack travel-sized sunscreen and bug spray!
Our “black tie optional” wedding ceremony and reception will be outdoors at a European-inspired private estate. We suggest formal gowns for women and suits or tuxedos for men. For the beach welcome party the day prior, the attire is “resort chic”—dresses for ladies and linens for men (shorts are fine!). See our "Weekend Itinerary" page for more details.
Uber doesn't run in Riviera Maya. On the "Travel" page you'll find details and a link to book your group airport transfer. On our wedding day, provided shuttles will depart the St. Regis lobby at 3:30pm, and return at 11:30pm for the after-party. While our resort is very secluded (think private island vibes), Playa Del Carmen is just 30 minutes away—perfect for a day trip or night out with walkable beach clubs, restaurants, and bars!
Reservations can be modified or changed until November 11, and are non-refundable afterwards. To contact the St. Regis front desk, please email sr.cunxr.reservations@marriott.com. Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 12pm. The resort will grant early check-ins as available.
Make sure to book restaurant reservations one month in advance, as the resort will be at capacity during the holidays. We recommend leaning into cocktails and beer throughout the weekend, as wine comes at a high premium compared to the quality. See our "Things to Do" page to plan your stay!
For guests who have booked group airport transfers, our drivers will make a stop at GOmart. This is an excellent opportunity to stock up on well-priced essentials for your rooms. We've typically purchased liquor, mixers, beer, gatorades, and snacks.
Similar to the US, the standard tip suggestion is 15-20%, especially on property. Always check whether gratuity was included within the bill.
