Yes — there is a large parking lot at Sunken Meadow State Park. There may be a fee posted at the entrance, but if you mention you’re attending a wedding at The Pavilion, you should not be charged. We recommend arriving a little early to allow time for parking and the short walk to the venue.
Follow signs toward the main beach and boardwalk. The Pavilion sits right along the waterfront with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Sound — it's hard to miss. Parking attendants can also point you in the right direction.
Uber and Lyft both serve the Kings Park area. If you plan to enjoy a few drinks, we highly recommend arranging a rideshare in advance — availability can be limited late in the evening in this area.
The ceremony and cocktail hour may take place outdoors along the boardwalk and waterfront, weather permitting. August evenings by the Sound are typically warm and beautiful — we recommend a light wrap or jacket for after sunset.
The reception is inside the Pavilion, which has stunning floor-to-ceiling glass walls — the view stays gorgeous rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, all events will move under cover and we'll share any updates closer to the date.
Absolutely. Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies on your RSVP and we will make sure you're taken care of throughout the evening.
We kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to enjoy a night out
There are several hotel options within 15–20 minutes of the park in Smithtown, Hauppauge, and Commack. We recommend booking early as summer weekends fill up fast. Reach out to us directly for our suggested list of nearby hotels.
