This is where we will be having the welcome party, wedding ceremony, reception, and an optional activity to be planned the day after the wedding. The bride, groom, and some guests will be staying at the venue. Guests staying at the venue will handle payment and booking through the bride and groom.

Podere Dell'Anselmo

We reserved a hotel block at this accommodation and transportation will be provided on the wedding day to and from this hotel. To book a room, please email forconifabrizio@gmail.com and ask to book a room for "Morgan and Antonio's Wedding Weekend". They will respond with room options and provide a voucher to book. Double rooms are 190 Euro/night, and 4 person rooms are 240 Euro/night. A 30% deposit is required to book a room. This hotel is a 12 minute drive from the venue. It includes free WiFi throughout the property, air-conditioned rooms with Tuscan-style décor, a panoramic swimming pool, sauna, an onsite restaurant, and breakfast included with the stay. They also provide a few onsite activities like wine tastings and horse back riding. Please book your rooms no later than by December 15, 2025 and please let Morgan know if you are staying at one of the hotel blocks.

Country Hotel Borgo Sant'Ippolito - Ginestra Fiorentina

We reserved a hotel block at this accommodation and transportation will be provided on the wedding day to and from this hotel. To book a room, please email the hotel at info@borgosantippolito.it asking to book a room for the "Wedding of Morgan & Antonio" and they will share a link to confirm the reservation at a discounted rate. Room options include single, double, and standard options from their website. Pricing ranges from 105-155 euro/night. This accommodation option is approximately a 14 minute drive from the venue. It includes breakfast, a restaurant in front of the hotel for lunch/dinner options, WiFi throughout the property, air-conditioned rooms with Tuscan-style décor, and a swimming pool. Please book your rooms no later than by December 15, 2025 and please let Morgan know if you are staying at one of the hotel blocks.

Flight

Amerigo Vespucci Airport (Florence, IT)

When booking your flights, consider flying from or connecting to major international airports to get the fastest and cheapest flight. The closest airport to the venue is Amerigo Vespucci Airport located in Florence (~30 min drive away). Here you can arrange flights, taxi service, or shuttle. If you are flying directly from the U.S., we suggest arriving 1+ days before the wedding to adjust to the time zone. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to the Bride.

Rental Car

Transportation

We suggest to make a rental car reservation or book a taxi in advance to travel to the venue. Both hotel blocks can also help arrange taxis and taxis should be available at the airport. Rental cars can be reserved and rented directly at Amerigo Vespucci Airport. If you choose to rent a car and plan to stay in the city of Florence before/after the wedding, make sure to check the the limited traffic zones in the city which are areas where you cannot drive during certain times of the day. This should not be an issue if you rent a car at the airport and drive straight to the venue. One of the common Taxi companies in Florence is Taxi Firenze - by phone they can be reached at +39 055 4242, on WhatsApp they can be reached at +39 334 6622550, and a reservation can be made online ahead of time in their app called AppTaxi. Uber is not as common but is recommended for a large group or if a large car is needed.

Travel Tips

May is the end of shoulder season in Italy and flight prices will be rising around these dates. To get the best flight consider the following: 1. Track potential flights on www.googleflights.com and set up your email notifications so you are alerted when prices drop (make sure to do this in incognito mode) 2. Consider using points/miles to book your flight! We recommend websites like point.me or roame.travel to shop for flights with points. 3. Consider getting a travel credit card that will enable you to earn points prior to the trip and get you a free flight! 4. Consider flying out of major international airports with the best routes to Florence. Keep in mind for those traveling from the US there are no direct flights to Florence. Sometimes it is cheaper to book multiple one-way flights or a round-trip flight to your connecting airport and then ones way to Florence/final destination. 5. Consider converting USD cash to Euros if you plan to travel within Tuscany region outside of the wedding, in case it is needed. Reminder: Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted in Italy, Amex is not usually accepted.
