There are three major airports: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (airport code: DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (airport code: IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (airport code: BWI). Important Note: We highly encourage you to fly into Reagan. Reagan: This is the is closet airport to Washington D.C. It is easy to get to by a short and reasonably priced taxi/Uber ride or via the Metro, which stops directly at the airport. Dulles: Roughly 26 miles outside of DC. With no traffic, it can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 45 minutes to drive in. With traffic, we have seen it take 90 minutes to 2 hours. An Uber will cost around $70 one way. BWI: The best way to get to and from BWI is by train. From Union Station, you can take a 30 minute Amtrak train for $20 to $25. This can be difficult to navigate. An Uber will take 90 minutes and cost around $90.
