Q: What is "Lakeside Formal" attire?

A: We want our guests to feel elegant yet comfortable in our open-air setting! For our wedding, Lakeside Formal means: For Men: The groomsmen will be in tuxedos, but we invite our guests to join us in Lakeside Formal. While tuxedos are welcome, a sharp, dark suit and tie are also perfectly appropriate for the setting. For Women: A floor-length gown or a midi dress. Vibrant colors, summer florals, and fun patterns encouraged! Think elevated summer style in breathable fabrics. A Note on the Terrain: Our ceremony will be held on the grass, and the conservatory is an open-air tented structure surrounded by lawn. To make sure you’re comfortable all night, we strongly recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats. For those who prefer stilettos, we recommend grabbing a pair of heel protectors (like Solemates or Grasshoppers) to keep you from sinking into the lawn during our ceremony/walking on the lawn!
