We’re getting married!!

We first met while working at Woodstack BBQ Tavern in Valdosta, GA. We clicked almost immediately and practically became inseparable. After a night of singing karaoke with some of our mutual friends, we both admitted that there was a little crush forming. Abby asked me to be her girlfriend on October 8, 2022 by giving me a Boo Basket filled with Halloween themed gifts.

We had finally made it to Orlando and were on our cruise with Grams. Obviously, our first stop was to sign up for the drink package, then Abby wanted to get some pictures taken. So we went back to our room for all of us to get dressed. I remember being so confused why it was so important that we get pictures on the first night and why I had to try on EVERY dress I brought with me, but when Grams tells you to go with it… you go with it. We got off the elevator and Abby takes off toward the photographer area. I honestly just chalked it up to her being on her first cruise and being a little nervous. We took a couple of pictures, and before I even knew what was happening, she had stepped away and grabbed the ring from Grams (best wing-woman ever!) She came back, got down on one knee, and I’m pretty sure I blacked out from excitement. But I guess I said yes, and we spent the remainder of the cruise celebrating and working the ring into every single picture (I mean, can you blame me? Look at it!)
