St George Street is a must-see for Saint Augustine. Food, drinks, and local shops! All around this street is downtown historic Saint Augustine. Some of our favorites in the area: -Walking distance dinner: Prohibition Kitchen, Harry's Seafood, River & Fort ( Most don't take reservations FYI!) -Quick drive dinner: Crave, the Ice plant Bar, St. Augustine Fish Camp -Dessert: Kilwin's -Brunch: Sunday, Uptown Swinery -Coffee: DOS Coffee & Wine, Odd Birds Cafe
The closest beach to the venue is about a 5-minute drive to Vilano Beach. Put in 50 Vilano Rd to your GPS to take you to the main beach entrance (next to the Hampton by Hilton). There isn't a lot of restaurants by this one- but there is a Publix grocery store you can get fried chicken "Pub-subs" we love! A 10-minute drive will take you to the most beautiful local beach, Anastasia State Park. There is a small charge per car to enter, and it closes at sundown. There's a very long pier to walk over to access the beach or a small ramp on the side for wheelchair access. You can camp here if you're adventurous! Lastly, Saint Augustine Beach is a 15-minute drive and located on A1A Beach Blvd where there is a pier and restaurants. Put in the St. Augustine Pier for your GPS to take you there. We recommend Burrito Works Taco Shop, Rita's ice cream and & Salt Life Food Shack for food around this area!
