Valet Parking at the Edgewater
Edgewater valet event parking for the wedding only is $22. Overnight valet parking is $52 per night.
Republican Garage Self Parking (3m walk to venue)
Self garage parking with reasonable rates that is a very short 3m walk from the Edgewater. Don't let the name fool you, Democrats are welcome to park here too!
Seattle Aquarium
Wonderful spot for families, adults, and/or children. Say hi to the Giant Octopus for us!
Space Needle
The Space Needle was recently renovated and now has stunning glass floors/observation deck. Highly recommended for all ages!
Olympic Sculpture Park
This sculpture park is a very brief walk from the Edgewater. Continue beyond the sculptures and you'll be in Myrtle Edwards Park, a favorite place of ours that has dramatic across-the-water views of downtown, and if lucky, Mt. Rainier.
The Seattle Great Wheel
A giant, colorful ferris wheel on a pier extending out into Puget Sound, what else do we need to say?
Pike Place Market
It's a Seattle institution and incredible fun, especially as it turns into a Christmas market for December. Make sure to 'catch' the fish throwers!
Kerry Park
This is on top of Queen Anne hill (where we live) and has wonderful views across Downtown and Puget Sound. Just around the corner are two of Seattle's favorite treat spots: Molly Moon's Ice Cream (YUM!) and Top Pot Donuts (double yum!).
Food: Six Seven restaurant
This is the restaurant at the Edgewater. Incredible views and highly recommended for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
Coffee: Uptown Espresso - Pier 70
Need coffee? This is your spot. Quick walk from the Edgewater and just before you enter Olympic Sculpture Park.
Food: Goldfinch Tavern
Chef Ethan Stowell is our favorite and it doesn't get any better than his Goldfinch Tavern (reservations highly recommended). We also love his other restaurants in the area, including Tavolata just up the street from the Edgewater.
Food: Matt's in the Market
Incredible food in a unique location overlooking Pike Place Market. Reservations are a must!
