One October day in 2022, Morgan was working a shift as a barista at Lucky Perk alongside her friend (and now bridesmaid!) Stacie. That same weekend, their coworker Braelyn (who is also a bridesmaid) was off in the mountains on a trip with friends—and her new roommate, Justin. When Braelyn posted a photo from the trip, Morgan immediately messaged her and asked, “Who is that? He’s so cute!” She didn’t know it yet, but that simple message would change everything. The next day, Braelyn invited Morgan to a bonfire at her house to celebrate a friend’s birthday. When Morgan knocked on the door, it was Justin who answered—and from that moment, the two instantly clicked. They spent the night talking about music, bonding over their obsession with Flatland Cavalry and many other artists (many of whom they’ve since seen in concert together). From that night on, they were inseparable—spending nearly a year talking nonstop and “pretending” they weren’t already in love. In September of 2023, they finally made it official. Since then, they’ve shared countless memories together—attending concerts, traveling internationally, going on camping trips, and even bringing home their energetic (and slightly mischievous) golden retriever puppy, Danes.
