January 2015 in Freshman Stats Class at WNE University is when Morgan first saw Stephan. He was late to class, of course, and the second she saw him walk across the front of the classroom she knew he was the one. Just ask her bridesmaids how often she talked about the cute guy who sat by the windows! Although it wasn’t until October 2015 (after a water gun fight in Commonwealth Hall between Morgan, her roommate, and some of Stephan’s friends) that the two would officially be introduced. For the next 3 years the two were “just friends”. If you ask Morgan about those 3 years, she would say Stephan was playing hard to get and just didn’t want to admit he was madly in love with her. If you ask Stephan about those 3 years, he would say that he just wasn’t ready to be in a relationship and he really did think they were just friends. Flash forward to July 2018 (two months after college graduation) and Stephan FINALLY realized he couldn’t imagine his life without Morgan. From the comfort of his family home’s bathroom, and the magic of FaceTime, he asked Morgan to be his girlfriend. The two would go on to be semi long distance (when you don’t have a car 2 hours might as well be 2 days away) for the next 3 years before moving in together. Christmas Day 2024 marks the end of the couples relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend because it was the day Stephan proposed. Now the couple is happy to start the rest of their lives together and build on their family of 3 (if you didn’t know the couple share a reptile baby, their tortoise named Frankie).
