Our story started first as “physics friends” at Gordon College and at USC. After graduation, we each pursued what the Lord had next for us. Morgan started her career in MA; meanwhile, Ruben earned his masters & started his career in FL. After reconnecting in 2019, we remembered why we were friends in the first place & realized life was better together. Once we figured that out, we decided not to let a little thing like geography get in our way (or a pandemic for that matter). Over the next 2 years, we earned our frequent flyer miles as we met each other's families & built our relationship while living 1,000 miles apart. After each phone call or visit, we were left with an increased level of peace and excitement about what God was up to. As 2020 turned into 2021, we had both a quarantine Christmas apart but also a Texas Snowpocalypse together. However, these adventures were only beginning. On March 12th, Ruben made a surprise trip to Dallas and proposed at the top of Reunion Tower! Obviously, we were both thrilled and smiles could even be seen through our masks. The common thread throughout all of this is that God has been so faithful, and we know he's been at work all along. Now it's time to celebrate!
