Morgan and Christian met in San Antonio, Texas, while attending their first “real Army” assignment: BOLC (Basic Officer Leader Course) in October 2023. Morgan was a newly licensed Army nurse, and Christian was an aspiring Blackhawk pilot. At the time, they thought they only had 2.5 months together before heading their separate ways forever… or so they thought. The two first met on the soccer field, where Christian claims Morgan randomly showed up to “his soccer game.” What he didn’t know was that Morgan had played collegiate soccer — and once she started dribbling circles around him, he was instantly interested. To make things even funnier, one of the neighborhood kids asked Christian if Morgan was his girlfriend. His response? “Ummm… no, we’re just coworkers.” That didn’t last very long. Over the next few months, their friendship quickly grew into something more. After BOLC, Christian moved to Alabama for flight school, while Morgan started her new life in Hawaii as an Army nurse. Despite the distance, they knew they wanted to make things work. Christian visited Morgan in Hawaii the following March, and they picked up right where they left off. Later that year, Christian proposed on the Fourth of July, and the two were married the very next day — July 5, 2024. Now happily married and living together in Hawaii, Morgan and Christian are so excited to celebrate with all of you!
