The address to the venue is located on the invitation and in the “schedule” tab on the website. There is a sign at the turn to get into the venue that says “White Barn Ranch.” We will also have a white banner in the driveway. Pay close attention because it is easy to miss! There will be designated parking area available at the venue. Please note that due to the rural location of the venue, Uber and other rideshare services may not be consistently available. You are able to leave your car at the venue until 2 pm on Sunday if needed! If you need a ride back to your hotel from the wedding please notify Kelsey by 6/20! Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 PM. To ensure everything runs smoothly, we kindly ask that all guests arrive at approximately 2:00 PM. Please note that late arrivals will not be permitted to enter once the ceremony begins. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a respectful and uninterrupted ceremony.
Yes, everyone is allowed a plus one. We ask that if you would like to bring someone special, please indicate so when you RSVP. If we do not know the name of your plus one, when you RSVP, it will say "guest name unknown." Please reach out to Kelsey or Matt and inform them of your guest's name. Please note, due to limited space, unconfirmed guests who were not included in the RSVP will not have a seat at the event. Thank you for understanding!
Yes! Children are welcome! Please include all kiddos on your RSVP. For the ceremony, we kindly ask that parents with young children sit toward the back and away from the aisle, in case someone gets a little fussy. If needed, please excuse yourselves discreetly so the ceremony can continue smoothly. Your thoughtfulness is truly appreciated and helps make the day enjoyable for everyone.
We kindly encourage all guests to dress in formal to semi-formal attire. Western wear is welcomed and encouraged. Please be mindful of your footwear. Our venue is on a ranch and includes some walking over gravel and uneven ground with elevation. Choose shoes that are both stylish and practical for the setting. Ladies, kindly avoid all shades of white 🤍 Gentlemen, jeans are discouraged, but if you must wear them, please ensure they are dressy and well-presented.
The venue is a short 15-minute drive from Sandpoint and Ponderay, ID where we have several hotel blocks reserved. There are also multiple hotel options in Coeur d’Alene, which is further away. Please see the travel tab for more information on hotel blocks. There are other hotel options in Sandpoint as well that we do not have room blocks reserved at. We cannot stress enough to book hotels sooner rather than later. North Idaho is a busy tourist destination in the summer and hotels become booked quickly and prices will increase the closer we get to the wedding.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The reception will take place indoors. The weather in Northern Idaho can be unpredictable. Please dress for rain or shine!
We will be serving a buffet-style dinner for our reception. You’ll have the option to enjoy chicken, prime rib, or both, along with a variety of delicious sides. Feel free to choose what you like! Gluten-free and dairy-free options will be available. Please ask the dinner staff to help identify which dishes meet your needs. We’re excited to celebrate with you and hope you enjoy the meal!
Yes, there will be an open bar! There will be a variety of beers, wines, seltzers, wine cocktails, and canned cocktails served. We just ask that you kindly bring cash tips for the bartender or use their virtual tipping through their Venmo provided! The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you!
Yes, there is an after party at the wedding and the day after! The wedding reception will end at 9:00 pm. There will be a casual bonfire after-party until approximately 10:30 pm. Feel free to stay and hang out with us! There will be an after-party at the Morey’s house the day after the wedding. We would love to see you before you leave town! Please ensure you RSVP if you plan to attend.
