Out of boredom and tired of being alone we both did something we had tried many times before. We joined yet another dating site, this time it was Lumen.com. We don't know why we did it because it had never worked before and we were sure it wasn't going to this time either. Moe was on for about two weeks and Patti was on and back off in 24 hours. We didn't follow the rules because after one week of talking for hours, we went on our first date. Neither of us believed in soul mates, and now we laugh, we have become so cheesy. We both professed to the other early on that we would not marry again but then it felt so natural to make that step. We have dealt with more things in our time together than most couples do during an entire marriage. Moving Patti twice in four months was only the tip of the iceberg. When we were engaged in December, we simultaneously learned that what had been advertised as a basement was an indoor pool that grew black mold. Even though we lost thousands of dollars, we still had each other and that was really all that mattered to either of us. So we moved, began settling, set our wedding date for 03/20/2020, our wedding cruise for 03/21/2020 and then COVID-19 happened. They docked our ship 5 days before the wedding, but we were determined to still get married so we booked another Honeymoon at Litchfield only to find out the day before the wedding that all Beaches were closed and all restaurants were closed. It was out of our control and we were just thankful that God saw fit to bring us together before we were quarantined, because we can't think of anything worse than going through this alone. So we are excitedly planning our wedding again for June 20,2020, almost a year to the day we met. We are convinced that God saw fit to bring us together and he will keep us together. We want to share a little piece of our sunshine with our family and friends.
