Mo's sister, Maya, went off to college and during her freshmen year she met Hunter - a track star with a bubbly personality - and quickly they became good friends. Mo, with the world's worst haircut (grown out and somehow half blonde and half red), would frequently visit Maya at college and see Hunter from time to time. A year and a half later, Mo enrolled at the same University and ended up sharing a class with Hunter the following year. Mo thought Hunter was funny and kind. Hunter thought Mo was compassionate with a great smile. Fast forward a few months and they began to spend more time together. Their first date was dinner followed by mini golf at Boomers. Their connection was instant and they soon spent every day thereafter together. Their first kiss happened during Kung Fu Panda 2 and drinking cheap beer in Hunter's dorm room. Then, on January 5th of 2018, Hunter asked Mo to be his girlfriend over breakfast and they spent the next six years having the best time of their lives together. Hunter brought out Mo's adventurous side and taught her how to have fun. Mo brought out Hunter's tenderhearted side and helped him become the best Cat-Dad (that now owns too many cat toys). Both never thought they would find each other on the small campus of La Verne - but both ended up with a best friend forever.

Hunter and Mo now live in the beautiful beach town of Santa Barbara -- squeezed into a small apartment together with Harley, their 90lb senior puppy, Mika, their first cat together, and Miss Honey, the smallest of the pack. Hunter continues to work at UCSB as a Graduate Advisor in the Arts & Art History Department while Mo remains as a Transaction Coordinator at Curvature LLC. Both getting second jobs (Hunter at Bristol Farms and Mo at CVS) working nights and weekends to put together their wedding. They used to spend their free time going on plenty of bike rides or playing cards at a nearby Café. They leave for work each morning with a hug and say goodnight each evening with a kiss - life seems perfect with their little family of five.
