We have a classic 21st century meet-cute story that all started with swiping on a dating app! Tyler used a very cheesy pickup line and we chatted for about a month before agreeing to meet in person. Once we decided we did want to meet, it was all about finding time in our opposing work schedules. Finally, it was decided, on a random Wednesday in July we would meet at the local Waffle House for breakfast, which was then followed by lots of adventures together, laughs, travels, moving to different states together, and many many more Waffle House dates ❤️

On this weekend, Amber’s friend “decided” it would be the perfect time to visit us in Kansas! On her first morning in town, Tyler said he will be going to the gym, getting ready for the day there and we could pick him up and go sight seeing. Maddie (the friend who helped Tyler figure this plan out) suggested we go on a walk while Tyler is at the gym. Tyler suggested we visit a walking trail at a park Tyler and Amber previously picnicked at, because it was close to the gym. But wait! “If Maddie and I pick up Tyler from the gym when he is ready for the day…Maddie and I won’t be, so it doesn’t make sense” Amber thought, Maddie suggested “well, let’s just get all ready for the day then!” So thus, Amber and Maddie started on the walking trail getting interesting looks from runners and bikers who were on the path in proper clothing and not dresses. Then, when Amber turns the corner down the trail everything adds up when she sees the sight of Tyler standing with a photographer on a white picnic blanket and flowers ❤️ the rest is history! 💍🥰
