A Louisiana girl meets an Alabama guy and they fall in love! Some people would think 'what an adorable southern love story' but a little bit of a curveball when one is an LSU fan and one is an Alabama fan. But when it's not football season it really is a match made in heaven <3 Lexie previously lived in Mobile, AL and worked at USA and was social media friends with one of Jim's really good friends, Jessie. Lexie just finished her last clinical rotation in Louisiana for NP school and was FINALLY going back home in Alabama and would no longer be running the roads (IYKYK). She was studying for boards when she decided to scroll on Facebook and she noticed a VERY SEXY man in one of Jessie's post and of course her being the detective she is she was able to locate Jim and sent him a very awkward DM, which none of you will ever see!! Lexie went to bed not thinking much of the pretty lame message she sent but all the way in Geneva, Alabama Jim looked down at his phone and said "this has to be a catfish she is really pretty!". Lexie and Jim messaged back and forth for about 2 weeks before Jim asked her on a date! Their firs date was in Pensacola and they went to an Ice Flyers hockey game and ate Mexican food. Lexie remembers the date as so romantic and Jim being sooooo dreamy and Jim remembers it as Lexie talking too much and her breath not smelling the best (Omg guys I ate cilantro and tacos geeez!). After that the rest is history! Jim drove to Pensacola every weekend to see Lexie until the two moved to California after 7 months of knowing each other. I mean I guess you can say he must have really loved her to move across the country OR he was crazy! After 13 months of dating Jim proposed to Lexie in Napa Valley on the sweetest and most romantic road trip together. We are getting married in Orange Beach, Alabama. Although, this is neither of our hometowns we felt like this is now OUR home. It is where we fell in love, had our first kiss, our first home together, and it is where we will be getting married!
