FAQs

Question

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

Our wedding will be held in North Carolina or neighboring states such as Virginia, or South Carolina. Full venue and weekend details will be shared once final selections are complete.

Question

Is this a destination wedding?

Answer

Yes! For most of our guests, this will be a destination wedding weekend. We can’t wait to spend a few days celebrating together.

Question

How long should I plan to stay?

Answer

We recommend planning for the full weekend if possible, as we will be hosting multiple events to celebrate with our guests.

Question

Will you be collecting early RSVPs?

Answer

Yes — we will be sending a brief interest form prior to formal invitations so we can plan accurately.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones will be noted on your formal invitation. Due to the destination nature of our wedding, we are unable to accommodate additional guests.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and evening celebration will be an adults-only event. Children are warmly welcome to join us for select daytime weekend festivities, such as brunch and casual gatherings, if they are traveling with you.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie. All guests will be asked to wear black as well.

Question

What does black tie mean?

Answer

For guests, this means formal evening wear — tuxedos or black suits for gentlemen, and floor-length black gowns or formal cocktail dresses for ladies.

Question

Are guests expected to wear black?

Answer

Yes — we kindly ask that guests wear black attire to complement our elegant wedding aesthetic.
