The couple first met at Colorado State University during a game of beer pong through their Greek life circles. They swapped numbers but—both a little stubborn—waited for the other to make the first move. The next weekend, fate brought them together again at the CSU vs. CU game in Denver. After running into each other at the tailgate, they ended up heading into the stadium together and spent the evening talking. Since that day on, they’ve been inseparable.

After graduating from CSU, the couple moved to San Francisco, a city that quickly became their second home as their careers and relationship grew. Jose proposed to Ariana at the Presidio Tunnel Tops, overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. He set up a glowing path of tea lights and flowers leading to “Marry Me” balloons. As the evening light faded, Ariana arrived to find the bridge shimmering behind Jose, standing among the lights and flowers—creating a moment they will never forget.
