Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. Because all of our guests are going to be spread out at different hotels and some will have cars, we opted not to schedule transportation! Uber and Lyft services run through Disney property all hours of the day! Disney has a partnership with the Lyft App called the Minnie Van. Disney Cast Members drive these and they are a great option for large parties. Your hotel lobby should also be able to help with taxi services if needed.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

30-45 minutes before the start time on the invitation, so around 5! Our ceremony will start around 5:30 and that is the designated time the bride is planning to walk down the aisle. A representative from the Four Seasons will be in the lobby to guide you on where to be and the ceremony location.

Question

What is the attire for the wedding day?

Answer

It is Formal/Black Tie Optional, tuxedos are not required but encouraged! It is an outdoor event with some grassy areas, shoes that can withstand grass are recommended.

Question

What is the Attire for the Welcome Party?

Answer

We discussed this one as being “Beachy Cocktail.” As it’s being hosted in the parks we want you to feel comfortable but a bit dressier than usual! The bride will be wearing rhinestone sneakers; we suggest wearing shoes you feel comfortable walking in since this party will be hosted in Epcot Center.

Question

What are the details on the Welcome Party?

Answer

The Epcot event starts at 7:30! We have asked all guests to meet us at the Dolphin Resort at 6:45 to allow for walking time. It’s a little over 20 minutes to walk to the park from the Dolphin Resort. 1500 Epcot Resorts Blvd Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 Payment for anyone who plans to park at the Dolphin Resort will be around $35. You can get parking validation if you plan to eat dinner at this resort before hand! The Epcot event is Desserts and Drinks only. While it is being hosted inside a Disney park, park admission is included just for the 2 hour duration of the event. If you wish to spend additional time in the park before the party then you’ll need a full day park ticket which can be purchased on the Disney Parks website. If you only plan to be in Epcot for the Welcome Party Event no ticket is required. You will be given a wristband when you arrive at the Dolphin Resort to mark that you are with our wedding party!

Question

Do I need a Park Ticket to attend the Welcome Party in Disney’s Epcot?

Answer

No! Not at all! Your attendance will include your admittance into Epcot for the party! We will be escorted by a Disney employee for this events time frame! And you will be given a wristband when you arrive at the Dolphin Resort. If you would like to spend the whole day exploring Epcot then you would need to purchase park tickets! We will only be allowed admission to the park for the 2 hours we have reserved the space in Germany!

Question

What is the recommended hotel?

Answer

The Swan and Dolphin are hotels we would like to guide guests to! It’s walking distance from both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Guests who stay here would be able to walk to and from our welcome party. There are several restaurants around this area both in the hotel and in the neighboring Disney World resorts (The Yacht Club, the Beach Club, and the Boardwalk Hotel). The Hilton Bonnet Creek Signia is also a great option as it’s only 10 minutes from the Four Seasons Resort. Guests who plan to stay off of Disney property, it’s highly recommended you have a car for ease of travel from wedding events!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have decided this event will be adults only! We love all the little ones in our family and beyond, but we think the adults will be able to fully enjoy each event and spend quality time with those who attend if kids stay home this time!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our venue has a strict head count for the amount of people we can have! So all those invited will be addressed by name on their invitation envelopes!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please contact the Bride, Megan Downing, at 9106444821 for allergy adjustments.
