If you had told us in fourth grade that we’d be getting married, we probably would have laughed in your face. Back then, we were total opposites, masters at pushing each other’s buttons, and convinced we had absolutely nothing in common. But senior year of high school changed everything. Somewhere between the 2 am talks, shared inside jokes, and the realization that high school was ending, was all the old friction that just melted away. The boy who used to drive me crazy became the one person who truly understood me. The girl Damian thought he couldn't stand became the center of his entire world (duh lol). We officially became a couple that year, realizing the person we had been searching for had actually been walking right beside us since we were nine years old. We went from teenagers figuring out life to adults who can't imagine a single day without each other. When Damian finally got down on one knee, it was the easiest, most tear-filled "yes" ever. It turns out the best things in life just take a little time, even if you have to wait since the fourth grade. We can't wait to start our forever journey with all of you!
