Ricky and I started off as great friends. We would do everything together and we quickly became inseparable. One day on the way home from one of his work trips, he came straight to see me in Toronto from the airport. I was so excited to see him that I ran downstairs without putting on shoes!
Our first legitimate week as a couple was in Mexico. He asked me to come with him on a work trip and it made us realize how well we travel together. We joked to the friends we made there that we would invite them to our wedding one day, so they asked how long we'd been dating, and we told them about 5 days!
When he moved in he treated my old boy Elmy as his very own. He never had a cat before, and always took care of him especially when Elm had to have needles (I am deathly afraid of them). Eventually we got Poppy together and we love them both very very much.
