Madeline and Michael's story began in March 2021 at a St. Patrick's Day party. They hit it off immediately, talking all night long, and the very next day, Michael asked Madeline out on a date. Their first date was at Mi Cocina, where they spent the entire evening talking—so much so that they shut the restaurant down. What started as a simple (lucky) conversation on St. Patrick's Day quickly turned into something much more, eventually leading to a proposal.

On March 30, 2024, Michael proposed to Madeline in Crested Butte, Colorado—where Michael grew up skiing with his family and a place that quickly became one of Madeline’s favorites. He popped the question at the top of the mountain, complete with champagne and a heart drawn in the snow. Michael managed to keep the proposal a secret from everyone except their immediate families, and the look of surprise on Madeline's face says it all. Every detail was carefully planned, including the ring, which has an engraving of their song on the inside. We are incredibly grateful for the love and support of our friends and family, and we can’t wait to celebrate our marriage with our closest loved ones in November 2025!
