Well, where do we spend most of our time? For us its at work. I (Sara) had been with our company for about 6 years. Both in different departments. Both having little interaction with each other. All the girls in my department were having that "talk" of who we thought were the cutest guys in the office. Well, mine was him. All the other girls said theirs. We all promised not to tell on each other... I think someone told on me!
Spoiler alert! Believing that you know how your life will end up when you're 20 years old (or 36 for that matter) is a false belief. Life's unpredictable events and crossroads are some of the things that make this all worth living. If you would have told me I would be marrying Ms. McGaha about 4 years ago I would have been looking for Ashton Kutcher (God bless you if you get that reference). My work family is a close one. Most of us have been working together for 12+ years. Sara became a part of that family the minute she started. Her charisma and beauty is something that draws people to her. She's kind, funny, easy going, and definitely is not a scaredy cat. She was always a good friend to me and was someone I knew I could talk about anything to. I know now that communication is one of the most important things anyone can have in a relationship. Sara became one of my best friends, oh and it didn't hurt that she was gorgeous haha. Going back to my intro, life is unpredictable in a way no one can explain. I wouldn't change any event that has led me to this point. I sit here today engaged to my best friend, my therapist, my love, my road trip partner, my fellow foodie, my 3/8ths-life crisis, my smoking hot fiance, my soulmate.
